Warranty Policy

1. Product Warranty

At The DogCat Spot , we are committed to quality and customer satisfaction. All products sold in our store are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 12 months from the date of purchase.

The warranty covers manufacturing defects only, not including damage caused by misuse, normal wear and tear or accidental damage.

2. What is covered by the warranty?

  • Product manufacturing defects.

  • Structural or operational problems (e.g. broken accessories, faulty fasteners, etc.).

  • Excessive wear and tear that is not related to proper use of the product.

3. What is not covered by the warranty?

  • Damage caused by misuse, such as intentional animal bites or scratches.

  • Products damaged by accidents, fires or misuse.

  • Normal wear and tear of the product due to continued use (example: wear and tear of materials over time, such as fabric of collars and leashes).

  • Products modified or repaired without prior authorization from our team.

4. How do I request the warranty?

If you identify a defect in your product within the 12-month period, simply contact us via email at suporte@thedogcatspot.com or via our online chat on the website. To process the warranty, we will need the following information:

  • Order number and date of purchase.

  • Detailed description of the defect found.

  • Photos or videos that clearly show the defect.

5. Exchange or refund process

After reviewing your case, we will contact you to inform you of the decision. If your request is approved, we will offer you two options:

  • Product exchange : The defective product will be replaced with a new one, free of charge, if the item is available in stock.

  • Full refund : If the product is not available for exchange, a full refund of the amount paid will be made.

6. Shipping deadlines

After warranty approval, the customer has 7 business days to send the product back, using one of the shipping methods indicated by our team. Shipping costs for returning the product will be covered by our store .

7. Returns and Cancellations Policy

In addition to the warranty, we accept returns within 30 days of receiving the product, if the item is in original condition and has not been used. For more details on returns, please see our Return Policy .
